English (U.K.) to English (U.S.): A handy translation guide on speaking your native language in a foreign country by @hayleybloom . Moving from New York to London should, in theory, be the easiest of the transcontinental moves because you don’t have to learn a new language to set up camp in your new city. You can just pack up your Burberry trench and Wellies (translation: rubber boots, preferably Hunter) and hop right over. Cheerio, London!
