Will.i.am and Gucci partner on luxury smartband

Gucci and will.i.am have joined forces in order to make a smartwatch.  According to The Independent, Gucci and will.i.am are collaborating on a "fashionable wristband."  The smartband will be able to make and receive phone calls and include text and email functions.  The band will also be able to track your fitness as well as store music, maps and your calendar.

Luxury Daily explains that the device will be designed to be a luxury fashion accessory as well as a piece of advanced technology.  The new device will be equipped with a voice-activated personal assistant that will answer questions and input information.
