Crocodile Tail Leather Jacket

In February of 2010, Balmain released the Crocodile Tail Leather Jacket.  The design was one-of-a-kind and the price tag was out-of-this-world.  Many people squinted their eyes to ensure that they they were reading the price tag correctly after seeing that the jacket was 70K.  A few months after the debut of the jacket, it was offered on LUISAVIAROMA for half off: 33K.  The jacket included a mandarin collar and layered shoulder epaulettes.  The cuffs were frayed and unfinished, similar to the tail of the jacket.

Christophe Decarnin 

Christophe Decarnin became the creative director at Balmain in 2006.  It is clear that he spent a very long period of time to ensure that the jacket was perfect.  In 2011, Decarnin relinquished his position with Balmain.
