Givenchy Ricardo Tisci Animal Instincts

Riccardo Tisci
Riccardo Tisci is the creative director of Givenchy responsible for all those animals that you began seeing on all your favorite people's shirts a few years back.  Tisci is fascinated with Gothic touches along with space-age minimalism.  He is well connected to say the least.  Tisci designed Kanye and Kim's clothes for their wedding.  There has been recent news that Gucci will attempt to hire Tisci as their creative director.

Animal Instinct
Tisci's love for using animals in his designs is similar to Frida Kahlo's.  Tisci has an inclusive, nonconventional idea of beauty that can be seen clearly in his designs.  His iconic Rottweiler T-Shirt created everlasting fans of Givenchy that were not familiar with the brand before finding out the designer of the shirt.

Collaborations
In 2011, Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci designed the cover art for Kanye West and Jay-Z's single HAM and then recreated the cover on a T-Shirt.

Tisci collaborated with Nike, designing an Air Force I sneaker.

In August 2014, Beats By Dre announced that Tisci would be collaborating with the company to design a limited edition pair of headphones.

Givenchy - Past and Present
Givenchy was founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy.  It is owned by LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy).  Tisci recently hired Julia Roberts for its 2015 campaign.  Some may believe that this was an awkward move by Tisci, but leave it to him to prove the world wrong by introducing more timeless creations.
