Gucci K-Way Nylon Jacket

From boxer Manny Pacquiao to rapper Fabolous, this jacket is one of the best Gucci releases of all time.  It is not for those who do not want to stand out instead the jacket ensures that you are spotted from far away!!  When the light hits it, the reflection is amazing.

The classic piece runs nearly $1000.  It is equipped with a hide away hoodie.  The jacket recently released in kid’s sizes so your little one doesn’t have to feel left out when you put on your light show! 

Bluefly has a dark brown version of the classic that is simply amazing.  The jacket is also offered in blue and the original tan colorway.  The Gucci website also has the jacket in black.  I personally like this version the best!!

Gucci was founded by Guccio Gucci in 1921.  Gucci worked at a hotel in London where he witnessed upperclass travelers.  This inspired him to design luggage.  He began selling his designs to horsemen and his customers quickly spread the word.  He became known for the high quality of his products.

By the late 1930’s, Gucci had opened a store in Rome and his family began to help him with his growing business.  He has four sons that joined the company in order to help Gucci grow the business.  By the 1950’s, Gucci had opened a store in New York and Milan.  The brand experienced massive growth in the 1960 thanks to many celebrities who embraced the brand.

In 1970, Gucci and Rolls Royce joined forces to design a luggage set.  Around the same time, Gucci began to introduce more accessories to the delight of their many fans.  Aldo Gucci was the oldest son of Gucci. He ended up serving a year in prison for tax evasion in New York.  Rodolfo Gucci’s son, Maurizio took over and sold the company by 1988.  He was murdered in 1995, and his wife was eventually sent to prison for hiring his murderers.
