7 Reasons Why the Prada America's Cup are High-End Unforgettables

I.
Although fake versions have flooded the market, we are still appealed to the REAL ONES!!  Be careful when you are buying pairs on Ebay.  Fake Pradas were at an all time high on the site a few years back.  Although Ebay has been able to limit the amount of fakes in recent times, numerous counterfeit pairs still appear from time to tome.

II.
The America's Cup are Prada’s best selling shoe of all time.  Prada is one of the few luxury brands today that has retained its independence and the company's men's footwear department definitely contributes to their success.  The America's Cup being Prada's best selling shoe ever is quite an accomplishment as the sneaker has been able to stand the test of time!

III.
They were designed by Miuccia Prada, the granddaughter of Mario Prada (founder).  She took over the company in 1978.  Miuccia does not give away the company’s secrets.  She allows her designers to work freely and then allows critics to analyze freely.  She never corrects or explains critiques of Prada’s designs.  We may never know many of the secrets behind how she came up with the design of the America’s Cup yet there is some information that has surfaced…

IV.
The shoe was designed for sailing.  Miuccia’s husband was having difficulties finding a shoe to sail in so she resolved the problem by designing these high-end unforgettables.  Miuccia Prada’s husband, Patrizio Bertelli, began sponsoring a professional sailing team in 1997.  The team competes in the America’s Cup every year and I am certain that team members are able to stand strong even when the boat’s deck is soaked!!

V.
Since they were designed for sailing, they are some of the strongest shoes ever made.  They are completely waterproof, Prada uses premium leather and mesh.  They also have a non-skid rubber sole that Miuccia added so her husband could avoid slipping when the boat’s deck was wet.

VI.
They are some of the few patent leather shoes that people will wear without thinking twice about it.

VII.
Prada has experimented with countless colorways and the company never seems to get it wrong!!
